About Rock in PA

The idea for this page came to me when I finally realized that nobody wants to read a homepage about my exciting daily adventures as a Pennsylvania resident. I've always been a big music fan, and this area has had a lot to offer the rock 'n' roll world in the past few years. I began sending occasional email messages to my friends to let them know when the big rock bands were coming to town. Around the same time I really started getting into the local music scene. It didn't take long before it dawned on me: Why not put together a Pennsylvania music page and share this info with everyone?

At Rock in PA you will find music headlines, a list of national bands making tour stops in PA, upcoming releases from national bands, information about up-and-coming Pennsylvania-area bands, concert venues in our area, Central PA club schedules, and just a few unsolicited opinions from yours truly.

In January of 2000, I finally broke down and bought the domain name ROCKINPA.COM. This move prompted me to set up shop with a different web hosting company, which vastly expanded the possibilities for this page.

I hope you will find this information useful. Feedback, including additions and corrections, is always appreciated. And, hey, if you REALLY want to read about my exciting adventures, check out the list of concerts I've been to and a list of my favorite CDs, or maybe even my whole darn homepage. Rock on!!!
